We are currently sourcing products to launch a new Nineveh Shop soon! If you have experience in sourcing products and are interested in volunteering to help run the shop, we could use your help.

In the meantime, we are thrilled to be featuring the brilliant art work of Nenous Thabet. 50% of profits from all sales will go directly to the artist, and 50% will be donated to benefit our community through Nineveh Rising.

Nenous Thabet is an Indigenous Assyrian Iraqi artist who made headlines in 2016 at the age of 17 for recreating historic sculptures destroyed by the Islamic State during their destruction of the Nineveh governorate. Thabet was forced to flee his home in Mosul with his family.

"They waged a war on art and culture, so I decided to fight them with art," Thabet told CNN.

Thabet was encouraged and mentored by his sculptor father since he was 7 years old. After receiving his bachelor's degree from the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul in 2020, Thabet's talent in painting was quickly recognized and appreciated on a global scale, leading to several exhibitions of his original artwork throughout the United States in 2022.
